Rede Abrigo takes office as consultant to the new Adoption Commission of the OAB-RJ (Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro chapter).

On the morning of Friday, August 7th , the Rede Abrigo Institute took office as a consultant to the new Adoption Commission of the OAB-RJ ( Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro chapter) , chaired by lawyer Felipe Fernandes . This participation marks another important step in Rede Abrigo's institutional work in defending the rights of children and adolescents in foster care.

Skilled listening and networking

During the inauguration event, we also had the opportunity to hear from Captain Mariane Maia of the Rio de Janeiro Military Police , who presented the programs for assisting children and adolescents who are victims of violence in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Her speech reinforced the importance of coordination among the various actors in the protection network.
